Investor Protection: The NSSMC issued a fine for capital markets offences

As part of the systematic monitoring of dubious financial projects and with the aim of protecting consumers of financial services, the National Securities and the Stock Market Commission examined the case of offenses on the capital market in relation to LLC «BIRZHOVY CONSULTING».
Thus, the NSSMC imposed a penalty in the amount of UAH 85,000 for the company’s activity on the capital markets and organized commodity markets without the appropriate permit.
The NSSMC urges citizens to be attentive and carefully evaluate such investment recommendations and analyze the persons who distribute them before investing their own funds.
We remind you that on the NSSMC’s official website, in the «Investors’ Protection» section, there is a list of dubious investment projects, the activities of which correspond to the signs of dubiousness of the investment project.
In the absence of information about a certain dubious project in the specified section, potential investors, guided by the «10 signs of dubiousness of an investment project», can independently analyze it for fictitiousness.
