For the first time, the NSSMC, on its own initiative, admitted US and Germany debt securities to circulation in Ukraine

The NSSMC (National Securities and Stock Market Commission), on its own initiative, granted admission to 50 issues of debt securities issued by foreign countries, namely:
– 42 securities of the USA,
– 8 securities of Germany.

Thus, the NSSMC received information on debt securities issued by the above foreign states from PJSC National Depository of Ukraine.

It should be reminded that the admission procedure is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the Admission of Securities of Foreign Issuers to Circulation in Ukraine (Resolution No. 34 of January 21, 2021). The NSSMC receives information on foreign debt securities that may be admitted to circulation in Ukraine by the NSSMC and in respect of which there is interest from capital market participants, as well as information on restrictions on the circulation of these securities, from the NDU.

The regulator is actively working to expand opportunities for investing in foreign financial instruments and pays considerable attention to the creation of domestic instruments.
