Ruslan Magomedov: Cooperation between the NSSMC and the EBRD will contribute to the effective development of Ukraine’s capital markets

Recently, Ruslan Magomedov, Chairman of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, met with Francis Malige, Director of the Financial Institutions Division of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), to discuss the development of capital markets infrastructure and joint strategic plans.

The NSSMC Chairman announced this in his Telegram channel: «We talked about the creation of a separate consolidated structure that would accumulate all market elements into one institution and operate under the auspices of the EBRD. This approach will ensure that capital markets function as an effective source of funding and attract more foreign and domestic investment. This will be especially important during Ukraine’s recovery».

Ruslan Magomedov added: «I am confident that our cooperation with the EBRD in this area will have positive results and will contribute to Ukraine’s integration into European and international markets».
