NSSMC Resolution on revocation of licenses of the Ukrainian Exchange came into force

NSSMC (National Securities and Stock Market Commission) informs that NSSMC Resolution dated 05.06.2024 #14/01/10/C03 on application of control measures to JSC Ukrainian Exchange in the form of revocation of licenses for conducting activities in capital markets and organized commodity markets has entered into force.

It should be noted that the company filed a claim with the Kyiv District Administrative Court seeking to invalidate and cancel the NSSMC Resolution. Having considered the application of JSC Ukrainian Exchange, the court ruled to refuse to take interim measures.

As a reminder, JSC Ukrainian Exchange violated the requirements of paragraph 3 of part eighteen of Article 74 of the Law of Ukraine on Capital Markets and Organized Commodity Markets. During the consideration of the case of violation, NSSMC established the fact that the licensee, the owner of a significant interest in the licensee, has among the owners of a significant interest a person who was sanctioned in accordance with the Law of Ukraine on Sanctions.
