On demand: the NSSMC allowed the circulation of military bonds in dollars

The NSSMC has expanded the list of securities allowed for transactions on the secondary market during wartime. The regulator has admitted new U.S. dollar-denominated military bonds to the capital markets.

The first auction for their placement took place on March 15, 2022. The international securities identification number (ISIN) is UA4000225775. Natural and legal persons, residents and non-residents will be able to purchase them on the secondary market.

It should be recalled that the NSSMC simplified the purchase of military bonds, including by non-residents of Ukraine.

The maturity of bonds will be 407 days, and the maturity date is April 27, 2023.

Unlike hryvnia-denominated military bonds, this issue will provide for interim interest payments on April 28 and October 27, 2022.
