The competence of the Committee of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission on Supervision and Control of the Functioning of Capital Markets and Organised Commodity Markets includes the following issues:

implementation and control of the system of reporting and disclosure of information by market participants;

introducing a system of prudential supervision and overseeing the functioning of the internal control system of professional participants in capital markets and organised commodity markets;

establishing requirements and control over the amount of capital, liquidity, own funds adequacy ratios, other requirements and indicators limiting the risks of professional activities in the capital markets and organised commodity markets;

conducting inspections, on-site supervision and monitoring of the activities of capital market participants and organised commodity markets;

ensuring control over advertising in the capital markets and organised commodity markets;

Improving financial literacy of the population;

protecting consumers of financial services provided in the capital markets;

developing a comprehensive response to manipulation in the capital markets and organised commodity markets.
