The competence of the Committee of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission on the functioning of the post-trading infrastructure of capital markets includes

formation and implementation of a unified state policy on depository and clearing activities in Ukraine;

methodology for regulating depository and clearing activities;

licensing of depository and clearing activities;

acquisition of significant participation in depository and clearing institutions;

regulation of depository and clearing activities;

approval of candidates for the head of the Central Securities Depository;

regulation and authorisation of trade repositories.
