The NSSMC informed about key changes in the disclosure by AMC and ICI information

Specialists of the NSSMC (National Securities and Stock Market Commission) took part in the webinar “Changes in the compilation, submission and disclosure information by AMC and ICI“, which was held by UAIB (Ukrainian Investment Business Association) on April 23, 2021.

During the event, the NSSMC specialists infromed in detail about significant changes in the disclosure of AMC (asset management companies) reporting information, which are introduced by the NSSMC’s Regulations on the Compilation and Information Disclosure by Asset Management Companies and Persons Managing Assets of Private Pension Funds and Submission of Relevant Documents to the NSSMC (in force starting from April 1, 2021).

What is in store for AMC and ІСІ?

– the requirement for AMCs to submit information on asset management of NPFs (private pension funds) is excluded. As of today, the duty on responsibility for disclosing reporting information on the activities of NPFs, including asset management, is imposed on administrators of private pension funds. Thus, starting from November 1, 2020, NPF administrators submit the specified reporting information to the NSSMC on a daily basis,

– monthly reporting on ICI (collective investment institutions) is supplemented by a certificate on payment of dividends on ICI securities,

– quarterly reporting on ICI is supplemented by financial statements and information on legal entities – participants of ICI closed type;

– the procedure for disclosing information on ICI assets in relation to securities, receivables and corporate rights was improved,

– the procedure and scope of disclosing ICI information in the public information database of the NSSMC and on its own website were specified.

With these changes, the NSSMC has improved the procedure for disclosing reporting information on ICI, which will increase the efficiency and transparency of the securities market.
