The NSSMC presented a matrix of taxation of virtual assets

Today, at the working group of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy chaired by Danylo Hetmantsev, the NSSMC presented a matrix of taxation of virtual assets in Ukraine. This was announced by the Ruslan Magomedov, Chairman of the NSSMC, on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the NSSMC is a driver in creating a legislative framework for regulating this market.

‘We have already prepared a draft law (No. 10225), and we are actively working on it. And today we presented a taxation matrix for virtual assets. This is our big, thorough work. Based on the experience of other countries, we have outlined possible options in three key areas: Personal income tax, corporate income tax and VAT,’ said the Chairman of the NSSMC.

Ruslan Magomedov stressed that this will help the working group to better assess the risks and make a decision on the national model of taxation of the virtual asset market.

‘The key task is to create economically balanced and healthy conditions that will be comfortable for everyone,’ the Chairman concluded.
