A self-regulatory organisation of professional capital market participants is an association of professional capital market participants that meets the requirements established by the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
An association of professional capital markets participants acquires the status of a self-regulatory organisation (hereinafter referred to as the SRO) for a certain type of professional activity in the capital markets from the date of granting it the SRO status by the National Securities and Stock Market Commission. The procedure for granting an association of professional capital market participants the status of an SRO and deprivation of such status shall be established by the National Securities and Stock Market Commission in accordance with the requirements of this Law.
