New rules for issuing corporate bonds are already in force

National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC) informs that new rules for the issuance and circulation of corporate bonds came into force on 1 November 2024.

NSSMC has simplified the process of issuing financial instruments to make it more convenient for companies wishing to issue bonds. The new rules include simplification of the package of documents to be submitted for registration, improvement of the procedure for issuing special purpose bonds, the possibility to change the issuer, and new mechanisms for bond conversion.

Separate requirements for issuing green and infrastructure bonds are set out, as well as specifics for companies wishing to issue them.
