The NSSMC in Poland will participate in the training program on European Green Deal for the financial supervision

On December 14-16, 2022, with the assistance of the IFC ECA ESG Program, executed with the support of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), representatives of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC) will participate in the training program “European Green Deal in the scope of financial supervision” organized by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (UKNF).

The overall goal of the training programme is to introduce participants to the topics related to sustainable finance and its various aspects from a financial supervisory perspective. Such topics as ESG products and reporting, prudential requirements for investment companies, disclosure of non-financial information are to be covered through the program sessions.

Given the NSSMC’s ongoing activities related to the promotion of and introducing the regulation for the sustainable and green finance in Ukraine, this event is a great opportunity to learn from the experience of the European regulators and share practical experience and methods of financial supervision.
